3D Engineering - Milling
NMD utilizes 3D engineering and equipment in our everyday life to make custom parts for our Storefronts etc. So we are opening these services to you even if you are not doing a storefront , but need 3D design services.
Using Autocad Inventor Professional for part engineering and design, we can create your part from a napkin sketch to working design production drawings or reverse engineer existing parts that you own and anything in between.
Once all drawings have been completed they can be produced in two ways. First by utilizing our state of the art PolyJet 3D printer, capable of cost effectively creating your parts in “Vero” a photopolymer material that produces models that are dimensionally stable, highly detailed and smooth, simulating plastics that closely resemble your end product or we can print in the following mediums:
Transparent material: (VeroClear™), a nearly colorless material for models that mimics transparent thermoplastics like poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)
High Temperature material: (RGD525) for advanced functional testing, hot air and water flow, and static applications
Simulated Polypropylene materials: (Endur™ & Durus™) for polypropylene-like snap fit applications, flexible closures and living hinges, reusable containers and white appliances
Part sizing can be made in an area of:
11.81”L. x 7.87”w. x 5.9”h.
Or we can take the part directly to our CNC 3D water jet capable of a part sizes up to 120”w. x 240”L. or in our CNC Haas Vertical Milling and/or Horizontal lathe.
After prototyping is completed we can provide limited mass production of the part or guide you to outside sources that can provide high volume mass production.
